Bear Country Inn although they are an Inn, they also have amazing home made doughnuts which is what I stop there for! A variety of flavors for the mini holes! Try Bubblegum.

The Shaftesbury Ferry to cross the Peace River North of Tangent, arrive in Peace River. There is no cost for using the ferry, even for RV's, tractor trailers and motorcycles. Please check the page for hours of operation, Usually 7am - 11 pm everyday. Takes about 5 min to cross.
Also the Dunvegan River Rats is a great company that holds races on the river every year.
Wanham Plowing Match - every June in Wanham. Great Tractor and Horse Plowing, along with a beer garden and music.
